Gill McKay

After a corporate career specialising in HR, Training and Development, I qualified as an executive coach, working with hundreds of clients to build their confidence and find clarity and balance in their lives. And for more than 20 years, I have trained coaches, therapists, HR and wellness professionals to deepen their results through using neuroscience in their work

Now I use what I’ve learned to help people just like you find personal freedom from drinking alcohol. I’ll show you how to ....

Living lies has harmed me and I am most affected when experiencing and witnessing inequality and unfairness in the world.

My Story

Quitting the wine in 2017 has been a life changing journey back to health – and most importantly to liking myself again. I discovered a new me, and rediscovered parts of me I loved yet had drowned out with the booze. I connected with myself in a way I had never done before, at peace, happy and full of zest for life. I learned to look in the mirror and like the person looking back at me. I started living, not just existing....

An “empty nester” with 3 young adult kids, I live in London with my husband and 2 arthritic chocolate labradors. I enjoy running, writing, cooking, parties, dancing, comedy shows, crime novels and travelling anywhere to see Take That and Cold Play in concert!

Why I Do It

My passion is catalysing people to discover the key to unlock themselves from their personal shackles. It can certainly feel like drink can permanently lock us in and yet there is always a key to be found. It is there, I promise. All my work is underpinned by the triple C principles of “Compassion, Connection and Creation”, moving clients from being inquisitive about sobriety to embracing alcohol-free living.
